| Today is Spa day Cody's groomer appt. was for August 24th, since he was in the vet hospital on the 23rd I had to cancel the groomer. I keep Cody in a short puppy cut year round, he gets groomed every 5 weeks, his hair grows fast. It's almost 2 months since he was last groomed, his saddle is about 1 inch long now. I stand here looking down at him, his saddle coloring is so beautiful, it's kinda salt and pepper, so shinny, so beautiful I hate to cut it but, Cody does not have straight, flat hair, I guess it's what is called a cotton coat. His saddle color is always changing, this coloring is the most beautiful one, to bad it has to go.

| I’d love to see before & after photos, if you thought to take one before his haircut. Jax just turned a year old, and I haven’t decided whether to try to get him into a puppy cut. He’s only recently decided to allow me to brush him, but only if he has a few treats or a dental chew to work on while I’m brushing. Getting anywhere near him with scissors is nearly impossible still. Luckily he has the silky type of coat, so he’s not a matted mess, although I would really like to trim the hair on his face. |

| His top knot ponytail is a bit disheveled, I’m surprised the bow is still in lol. I have the groomer use a # 5 blade, it’s a very short cut because his hair grows fast, besides, I love to just mush him up with smooches, ya can’t do that with a pup in full coat. Puppy cuts can be given leaving their hail longer then what Cody has. Google Schnauzer cuts for yorkies, they are really cute, more hair, but it’s still short. Looking at his hair color the other night I went to get the phone to take a picture because the coloring was so beautiful, and the moment was gone. Once he sees I want a picture, the ears go down and he gets that pathetic look on his face lol. His hair was still short at one inch, there was no length . Both photos are from yesterdays grooming. Jax has good hair for a full coat, I love full coats on smaller dogs but requires a lot of work.
