I have the groomer use a # 5 blade, it’s a very short cut because his hair grows fast, besides, I love to just mush him up with smooches, ya can’t do that with a pup in full coat. Puppy cuts can be given leaving their hail longer then what Cody has. Google Schnauzer cuts for yorkies, they are really cute, more hair, but it’s still short.
Looking at his hair color the other night I went to get the phone to take a picture because the coloring was so beautiful, and the moment was gone. Once he sees I want a picture, the ears go down and he gets that pathetic look on his face lol. His hair was still short at one inch, there was no length . Both photos are from yesterdays grooming.
Jax has good hair for a full coat, I love full coats on smaller dogs but requires a lot of work.
