| Game Night and Bike Ride Katy had a very big week end! Saturday she went and got her Rabies Shot, weighed in at Vet at 3.14 pounds. Then we were off for my son's across the State for Game Night. My son and his wife have 2 dogs, two cats. My youngest son came with their 2 cats. ALL THE ANIMALS GOT ALONG and enjoyed the snacks and toys we took for them. Sunday, we rode bikes with my oldest son and his son. This was the longest ride Katy has done in her basket and LOVE IT! She got to see all the folks out and folks with other DOGS walking along as she rode by. We rode 11.59 miles. |

| What a great weekend Katy had. The more you do with them when they are puppies the more socialized they get with many things, good job mom. Many years ago I biked with my Poodle, back then they had nothing for dogs to ride in. I had a front basket and that's where my girl sat. I lived not far from the ocean, we would bike every Sunday to the beach and back, round trip maybe a bit under 15 miles. She was 7 years old when we started biking and she also loved it. Lil Miss Katy is a lucky lil gal to have such a caring mama

OH HOW CUTE! I love those little Poodles, any Poodle actually. I seriously considered a Toy Poodle when I was 'shopping' for a little dog. But I had decided, that this time, I wanted a TINY dog. When my kids were growing up there was an older girl (older than they were) in the neighborhood that had a Pappion <sp>, I still remember his name, Shottsy. She had just what you are describing, a larger basket secured to her handlebars. That dog would jump up into that basket and ride all over. When she stopped he would wait for her cues, "Ok Shottsy, you can get out.". He would get out and he was so well behaved everywhere he went. Then when she was ready to go she would say, "Ok Shottsy, get in." And he would jump up and in and sit right down. Cutest thing those two with that bike! She may be one of the reasons I wanted a little dog to ride in MY basket! Ha Ha Any chance you have any photos of your Poodle. I LOVE seeing everyone's photos....and yet.....<laughs> I am so BAD about taking photos of our, well?, our anything.

| Fourth Attempt to show the photo of Katy's Game Night Coat/Halter. Not sure if you can see the $1 Bow, or the little bitty dice on belt. My husband drilled the Dominoes, the Dice were on a Necklace at one time so already set up for sewing down. The underside has 2 strips of velcro for safety as Harness, one on the coat and then another on the belt....as well as large strip at neck. (note bicycle fabric, Ha Ha) https://dogstarkennel.com/menagerie/...size_small.jpg |

I THOUGHT that I did.....but. I am NOT computer savvy. And photos need to be so tiny for this forum! Ha Ha I'll have to go look at it again. YOUR POODLE! OH THAT CUTE PHOTO OF YOUR ADORABLE POODLE! I learned the hard way that, what we think of a bad photo, is better than no photo. Though the years.....wish I had more photos......<she says but so needs to get more photos of current dogs!> Sounds like you need <winks> to get your bike and sewing machine out.....think of the fun you could be having!
