| My Vet will not give me a bill or submit my claim after chargeing $11,200.00 to my cc Hello all, this is a very long story but I will try to shorten it-My baby Milo was very sick and in the VCA hospital and my holistic Vet strongly encouraged me to let her take him to try to save his life, and she had my credit card on file. She started charging my card without informing me for care and equipment etc. and I found she charged my credit card over $11,000. She will not give me a bill and will not send in my insurance claim to PETPLAN for which I pay nearly $1000 a year for protection for this very reason to make sure I am not it with any big bills. She always has excuses, (she is sick, her employee is sick, she is to busy posting spiritual videos on Facebook, etc etc. She had him for about a week, back in Janurary at her home business. Is there anything I can do? Do I have any recourse? I cannot afford this bill without the insurance payment. I am beside myself. Would appreciate any thoughts or advice on this matter. Thank you so much, I am so worried! |

I probably would also contact my credit card company and dispute the charges. At the very least, they would likely agree that a charge that high warrants an itemized bill, which you are justified in asking. | |

| Call your charge card company to dispute the charge, that's why I always use my charge card for reasons such as yours.

| I would make a claim with your credit card company. What she is doing is unethical. I would even look at taking her to court.

| I would make open a dispute with my credit card company and if need be file a police report for thief........because it's so much, it would be a felony. If you can prove you did not authorize those charges, filing a dispute and a police report or small claims should be your first actions. |

| I would NEVER use her services again, and I would also be sure to let her know in a letter that you will release the Story, with her name, on fb. Slander? I don't think so. Not if you are telling the truth. |

If not, check with an assistant D.A. for your city or a lawyer to see what you can do. And yes, tell your credit card company what happened and see what options you have with them.
