| Dogsure Has anyone use the water supplement dogsure before? I found it on Amazon and it seems to have done the trick. When Thumper was sick he wasn't drinking any water. I tried both pedialyte and Gatorade to no avail. I bought dogsure and he loved it. It is a powder you whisk in with water (can get clumpy if you do not mix it properly) It is vanilla flavored he lapped up the water. The next day he was drinking his water without the supplement like normal. I never heard of it before but apparently it is a probiotic that can also be used as a meal supplement if needed for dogs that will not eat. Thought I would share. https://www.amazon.com/Pet-Ag-99402-...ywords=dogsure

| It might be ok for short term use but there are a lot of milk products in it and dogs are lactose intolerant so you could really be looking at stomach issues. I think bone broth would be better.

| The only thing I've ever used is Pedialite clear. It worked for Gidget when she had a stomach issue and wasn't eating. |

| I don't think all dogs are lactose intolerant. Unless I was lucky and had the only pup in the world that had no issue drinking or eating milk products.

| We were taught that after around 9 months puppies systems change and become lactose intolerant. I’m sure like with people some dogs have stronger stomachs then other but that doesn’t necessarily make it good for them. Interesting fact, cats shouldn’t be given bowls of milk like somethings depict it’s not good for them past a certain age either.

I do get your point though, and agree as pet parents we should be careful. It is something that we should watch out for. Same as giving a child pedialite everyday instead of water is also not so good for them. There are better, healthier options for everyday consumption.

| Riigghhtt!?? I found out through experience that milk was baaaad for my both of my adult cats after sharing a bit of cheerios and milk. They sure loved it that ONE time!!! And since Piper has a rather reactive little system, we stick strictly to tried-and-proven dog stuff; it simply works best for us. |
