| https://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yo...emma-hair.html Emma will turn 5 in a month and we just cut her into a modified schnauzer cut. It took me a while to come to the decision bc I liked her with long hair but she gets sebaceous cysts often so I decided to cut her low bc of that . Emma is dainty and the long hair fit her I think, but that just may be my bias . Having the short hair I’ve noticed bath time is less frequent as the stink doesn’t happen as soon and she’s still cute.

| Went on the internet and found a "Blunt Hairstyle" for yorkies. I made a copy of it and will take it with me when I get Gidget groomed. It's exactly what I've been trying to describe to the groomer so now she will have a picture to go by. Made several copies so I'll have one to take the next time and the next time and the next time until she gets used to doing this cut. Will keep her body cut short - 2 steps above the very short puppy cut. Will make an appt for 7 weeks and see how that goes. May have to make it 6 weeks but we'll see. |

| Cody was groomed this past Wednesday, I had groomer use the # 4 blade which leaves his hair longer then the # 5, perfect length for him. Next groom date is in 5 1/2 weeks, his hair grows fast, with longer cut I can't do every 6 weeks. Bringing in a photo of what you want is a good idea.

| I do my own grooming. Somewhere on here I found the "Joey" cut. Guess you can call it a modified schnauzer. I use a #7 on his back, neck and chest. Scissor clip his under side and give it a light shave and lightly shave his private areas. I keep a top knot because I just love long hair and leave his tail a bit long so I can see it wag. He's my Stylin' Little Man.
