| I hate leaving Bon Bon for even a trip to the grocery store. He travels very well and I have done a 3000 mile road trip, as well as a few flights. The only time I had to leave him behind, he was home with my husband for a weekend. I still worried about him and required that my husband text pictures to me and call me on FaceTime so I could see both of them. I get such a great welcome home though. Looking forward to the excitement at my return helps a lot. |

| When I do leave Jackson, he stays with my dad. They have a fenced in yard and I trust them. Jackson also LOVES my dad more than anyone. He still is super bitter about me leaving and he's very high maintenance lol... it's a lot of work for my dad so I try not to leave him for more than a few days. He's always mad at me when I get back lol. He acts excited at first and then he gives me the cold shoulder for a few hours for leaving him lol. Even the best kennels I just wouldn't feel comfortable leaving Jackson in. I know some of them are great but he is the type of dog who would be an anxiety ridden mess in that type of environment so I would never do it.
