| Gidget & her morning massage Gidget sleeps with me & is a real sleepyhead. I'm usually up a couple of hours before she gets up--morning meds, morning coffee and breakfast. Then I wake her up at 9:00. When I pull the covers back, she rolls over onto her back and does her morning stretches. Then she rolls over onto her side. I put one hand on her back and my other hand on her chest/belly. Then I start rubbing each hand (in the opposite direction of each other). If she could purr, I believe she would. She rolls her head to one side and stays that way. The picture of contentment. I do this for a couple of minutes and then get her up, get her dressed for the day. Don't know how long she would stay that way if I didn't stop but it's a good bonding for us to start the day. She's not spoiled, she's ROTTEN but she's mine and I wouldn't have it any other way. |

| I love it! Sasha and I have a similar routine and I wouldn't change it for a million dollars. I start my day out with a smile every day because of my 2 babies!

| We have a bedtime routine. Each of the dogs has a small sherpa bed. They all get up into our bed, get their tummy rub and kisses, then burrow into their own beds under their lovey blankets. Tyrone sleeps nearest our pillows, then Gus, and Beau takes the closest to the foot of the bed. They will occasionally jump into another one's bed, but by morning it has always sorted itself out!

| Piper chooses to stay in bed while I get up, get dressed, etc. Throughout I pretend I don't see her, then when I start making the bed, she bounds over, then bulldozes the comforter at which time I say with much surprise, "Hey?! Is that my little Piper? Is that my little good good good Piper girl?" Then I grab her and rub her tummy vigorously, scratch the whole length of her back, rub her little face with her blanket and finally set her on the floor so she can race out into family room at about 90mph!!! Piper starts my day with a laugh, makes me happy all day long, and I say goodnight with a smile. Piper has brightened my entire life in countless, unique ways. And I thank God in Heaven above for giving me this true blessing... |

| Piper sounds like a cutie pie. What would we do without them to start our day with a smile and end our day with contentment. I thank God everyday for bringing Gidget into my life. She's my comfort by day and night. |
