I posted a couple of weeks ago in the R.I.P section that Beamer was hit by a speeding car (if you didn't see it we had workmen coming to lay new flooring and when Bruce opened the door for them Beamer darted out). A couple of weeks before it happened there was a good deal on Chewy and I hadn't ordered from them before but because of the deal I ordered a couple of cases of the Cesar little trays of food. Only cost just over $37. I only gave Beamer half of one of them a day as a treat in addition to his regular food. I had only used a few of them when he went to Rainbows Bridge. I couldn't find an expiration date on them and we are getting another Yorkie, so I e-mailed Chewy and explained about Beamer and asked them about the expiration date. They replied they were sorry to hear about Beamer and were refunding the amount I spent and to donate the food to the local shelter or give it to a friend who could use it. I thought that was a wonderful gesture. Didn't expect to hear anymore but today there was a knock at the door and the florist's delivery was there. Hope I am doing this right and the photos are attached.

So sorry for the sad loss of Beamer, what a sudden and shocking way to lose your baby.
How very kind of Chewy, not only to refund the food costs, but to send you card and flowers too. Hope the pain is getting less for you as time goes by.

So sorry about Beamer but we also learned how wonderful that you heard from Chewy. I always order from them and have always been satisfied with products and customer service. I know your heart is broken over Beamer. These little babies take our hearts and love us so much.
