| ![]() Antibiotics but not pain meds. He had a stomach bug 3 days before the attack and she doesn’t want to upset his stomach again. He walked to the water dish by himself this morning and he responds when I say his name. I really think his brain is fine. I’ve been reading about other attacks and it appears this behavior is what most dogs do. Keeping my fingers crossed. |

| ![]() P.s. I hope poor little Barney makes perfect recovery and doesn't become traumatized. What happened to you, pretty much happened to me a year ago. By the way I kind of agree with everyone else.... my take on things are simple. Just because a person is nice and a policeman doesn't excuse them from anything... Just as if a person who is hunting and accidentally shoots another hunting wearing a bright vest or whatever does not excuse him from said crime/mistake- even if it wasn't intended emotions, niceness, etc can't undo a damage already caused. My point is regardless of all of that, the damage done cannot be undone. At best can only be cured a bit, but the scar will still be there. IMHO taking action even if pursuing for just complete vet care costs + lawyer fees, will at least prevent this in the future by making them to be more careful on things. |
