| You wrote, "When Gidget ain't happy, Mama ain't happy." Smile. Don't know if this will work for you, but sort of inch-wormed my way into cleaning Katy's eyes. When she became a senior, her eyes needed more frequent attention. Eventually, it became a daily affair. It took a time. I started out just rubbing the back of her nose with my finger. When I found something loose by her eyes, she would left me knock that off--but she'd immediately move away from me. She did gradually let me use a damp cloth, later a cloth and comb(s). Still, each time I finished, she'd move away. Last edited by KatysMom; 04-29-2018 at 08:58 AM. |

| I'm going to try that and not rush into the eye cleaning. I'll probably start doing a little something on a daily basis maybe at bedtime since she won't have a chance to run and hide under the bed. She sleeps with me so that means she'll be close by all night. Just need to be patient, patient, patient. |

| Isn't it funny how these little critters have us completely wrapped around their tiny paws?
