| Booties and anxiety thoughts please Its been forever, but Im happy to be back! Izzy is doing well and now tips the scales at 10 lbs!! I am looking for recommendations for booties that she won't reject. Also, She is getting more and more sound sensitive. Gunshots, fireworks and thunder send her through the roof! I have been using a thunder shirt and 1mg of melatonin, but as time goes on, she is needing more. Any ideas on that? Thanks! Happy Holidays everyone! |

| Hello, You did not mention how old your pup was. There is a YT member here who owns ALL DOG BOOTS. You might find it on line and talk with them about which shoes might be best and how to introduce your pup to them. Have you contacted a dog behaviorist regarding the sensitivity to noises. Often your veterinarian can recommend one or one of your local pet stores may know of one. You might also contact local dog training agencies. Good luck!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I would def contact Alldogboots.com and I'd talk to your vet about using Trazadone.

| Fluoxetine (Prozac) is another possibility. Our Bella has been on it for four months now, with no side effects. Her general anxiety level is down. It's also very inexpensive ($4.00 for a two month supply). |

| Another for AllDogBoots.com and I would talk to your vet about the anxiety. It’s very rough to live with untreated anxiety.

| I've Bach Rescue Remedy for my yorkie. Mine is getting mire and more anxious with age. I only use it periodically and usually I put it on the skin to her absorbed. Can't say if it really works. I'm still trying it out.

| I would only use that for occasional anxiety if your pup is having everyday anxiety you really need to talk to your vet because it makes living miserable.
