| Barking noise Our new Dyson vacuume cleaner makes the same barking sound that our old Hoover made. And the Hoover before that one. Should I return it for one that doesn't make barking sounds? |

| Barking Sound Hi BowTie3, I know I most certainly would return it. If you mean a barking sound like a dog makes that should not be happening. Any noise other than the normal sound of a vacumn cleaner running to me means something is not right. At any rate I would not like it and would return it for sure.

| I know what you mean regarding the "barking" noise. I have it too. I'd miss that little yap if it disappeared. So I'm keeping mine. |

| I actually took our Dyson to the Dyson Store for service when it wasn't picking up. They were able to unclog it (pet hair) LOL in under 5 minutes. It didn't make a barking noise per se but a struggle suck noise if that makes sense. I wasn't charged for it either. So maybe you can take a trip to store. I'm one to say those vacuums are expensive so if its causing you any kind of concern, you should reach out to them and get it addressed. My dog doesn't like the vacuum so she stays hidden when we have it out so no barking from her.

We are like 007 when it comes time to vaccum in this house, lol. It's like a super secret top mission, with a deadline. I'm not sure if you're talking about an ACTUAL vacuum, or just stating the names all yorkies SHOULD be named: Rhoombas, Hoovers, Dysons, Swiffer mops.... | |

Hey Jenna, I thought the OP was speaking about an actual vaccuum. LOL I was confused at first too. Funny story though, my best friend has a Shi Tzu named Swiffer LOL
