I actually took our Dyson to the Dyson Store for service when it wasn't picking up. They were able to unclog it (pet hair) LOL in under 5 minutes. It didn't make a barking noise per se but a struggle suck noise if that makes sense. I wasn't charged for it either. So maybe you can take a trip to store.

I'm one to say those vacuums are expensive so if its causing you any kind of concern, you should reach out to them and get it addressed.

My dog doesn't like the vacuum so she stays hidden when we have it out so no barking from her.
