| We are still continuing to see healing with no additional clumpy hair loss. She seems to be accepting her new collar pretty well. Since she can't wear her harness yet because it would rub on the stitch, we have substituted putting on her collar to go places and she thinks it's just great. I have tightened it ever so slightly. She tolerated it okay but at first she wanted to act like she had a hairball. LOL I am a bit worried because I had to apply her Revolution heartworm meds today. I am so paranoid about her sensitive skin that I'll be watching like a hawk for a reaction and hoping it doesn't initiate a new problem. I've decided in the future I'll do some research and consider changing to an oral medication. I know the oral meds don't cover every parasite that Revolution does, but maybe her skin would be spared one more thing. |

The collar is designed for tags only. There is no leash loop. I am very aware of trachea issues and we use only a harness for the leash. I am actually trying to crochet a harness but I'm not the most experienced crocheter and it's a little more complicated than your basic blanket! But it remove the irritation of clasp rubbing. | |
