Hugo sleeps in his cage at night ( THE DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN SO HE ISN'T LOCKED IN) AND THEN IN THE MORNINGS HE SCRATCHES ON OUR BEDROOM DOOR AND EITHER ONE OF US LET'S HIM OUTSIDE TO DO HIS BUSINESS THEN HE COMES INTO BED WITH US UNTIL IT'S OUR TIME TO GET UP. I HAD CONSIDERED LETTING HIM SLEEP WITH US AT NIGHT BUT IN THE END DECIDED AGAINST THAT IDEA ☺

I sleep with my little guy. He growls at me If I get into "his" space. No worries about rolling onto him!!

Both of my Yorkies have slept in the bed with us until the older one, Bentley, got 15 yrs old and developed kidney problems...lots of drinking and a lot of peeing. My husband had to sleep downstairs so Bentley could get to water, pee pad, and his own bed. Things still haven't gotten back to normal with Porsche, now 13 and 1/2. She wakes up around 3:30 am and wants to go downstairs but refuses to stay alone. Either my husband or I must sleep downstairs with her.

We are slaves to our babies, but I wouldn't change anything.
