| He's finally home 🙂 Hi everyone! So excited to share great news 😊 We picked up the newest member of our family! His name is Dino, short for dinosaur lol. Our 8 year old son named him 😊 He originally wanted pterodactyl but compromised haha. Anyway, Dino went to the vet today and had his first shot. They weighed him at 2 pounds and he's currently 8 weeks and I was wondering if there is anyway to determine adult size? Please let me know, thanks! |

| Poor guy should still be with his mom for 4 more weeks. Your going to need to watch out for hypoglycemia, bitting issues and socialization issues. Honestly there really is no way to tell size until they get there. Most reputable breeders know the lines of their dogs and can give a pretty good guess.

| Welcome to YT and congrats on your new baby boy. Like Lovetodream88 stated only your breeder can give you a guesstamate on his size, and that is all it can be is just "a guess" no breeder can guarantee their puppy will be an exact weight as an adult.

| Thank you! I can see how it would be hard to guess there weight, I thought I would ask in hopes that someone had a somewhat successful way of guessing lol. I guess only time will tell, either way we love him already 😊 |
