| Not one that shocks them. The shock is to much for a small dog, it's cruel and it hurts. Positive enforcement training is the best way to train.

I'd agree that positive reinforcement works if you do it correctly. It's how we taught Sasha (but she is a glutton so that wasn't really hard at all) all of her commands and stuff. I suppose the help of a professional dog trainer would do wonders as well. | |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What is the goal for the training collar...is there something specific you're working on...? I agree with others - you never want to use shock. Using the vibrate or the beep can be helpful for some dogs.
