| Yorkie Breeder (NY, CT, MA, PA) Looking for a reputal breeder in these areas. We are looking for a pup that will be on the bigger side of the breed. We have had four Yorkies in the past who weighed in at 11-14 lbs, all healthy, all lived to the ages of 14-17 years. The issue we are having is the cost of $1,400, and looking at a budget of $1,000 max.....does not need to be show quality, as the pup would be our baby, not a show pup. I tried to post in the Breeders section, but was unable to gain access. |

| You would be better off going for an adult rescue because you would know the size and it would be in your price range. In that area you more then likely are not going to find a pup from a reputable breeder at $1000

| Thanks, I had a feeling this was the case. We did look at some rescue sites, and I would go for it, especially a senior pup so they can live out their lives with us....they would be treated like royalty and travel with us wherever we take our RV, but alas, the Wife wants to raise from a pup. I actually have a friend who has a 3 y/o Male and Female that they were trying to mate, but for some reason, it's not working out....said we could have them both for free.....but Wife sez..... |
