You might be able to find one from a non reputable breeder and then get good pet insurance right away. The biggest issue with buying cheaper and non reputable is you could end up spending more money on health issues in the end. I know you have had dogs before but compared to how much you have to spend the first year the cost of the pup is nothing. I got a puppy that at 9 weeks had been through two homes and no one wanted him, he has no papers or nothing so the first thing I did was get pet insurance right away when he had no pre existing conditions. Because he left mom to early we had issues we had to work through.
