| Are you asking about humans or pet's??? Humans same with pet's just make sure they know what they are doing and have had all the training. I know people who had it done and say's it was great. I have also heard people at my Vet office say the Vet we have that is trained in it, it has done wonders for their pet's.

| My vets office does it and I've seen some great results. My good family friends Goldens really benefited from it. I do not believe it was simply a placebo because, dogs don't lie. The Golden would go from hardly being able to walk to being able to get around so much easier. It wouldn't last long - it seemed they would get about a week out of it. But yeah for certain dogs with certain types of ailments, I find it works well. The act itself of getting the needles put in, etc, seemed very calming for the dog as well.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I had it done years and years ago on my late cat - and it was amazing! He was SO relaxed while getting it. I've had myself too and totally love it. I would contact a few local holistic vets and ask for a recommendation for an acupuncturist.

| One of my Facebook friends with a Yorkie girl who had back problems had it done and had great results. She was also on crate rest and meds after a full work up by a vet, and she improved rapidly when she started the acupuncture. I would definitely try it on my own boys. I hope you can find someone in your area.

| Wow, I wish there was someone near where I live that does it. The only places I can think of is in the big cities like Atlanta, but that's a bit of traffic to fight and a bit of a long drive for my girl lol

| My veterinarian does acupuncture, and I've heard people at his practice raving about it. Here is a link to the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. I narrowed it down to small animals, acupuncture, and Maryland, and there are 12 practices in the state. You may find other ones who aren't associated with this organization, but I'd start with this finder first. VetFinder – Find a Holistic Veterinarian – American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Sorry being so late to post. For myself with deltoid tendinitis it worked great. For two of my three dogs as well. The key for canines is their ability to relax and accept the needles. I asked my vet to refer me to a vet that was trained in acupuncture as well
