My vets office does it and I've seen some great results.
My good family friends Goldens really benefited from it. I do not believe it was simply a placebo because, dogs don't lie. The Golden would go from hardly being able to walk to being able to get around so much easier. It wouldn't last long - it seemed they would get about a week out of it.
But yeah for certain dogs with certain types of ailments, I find it works well. The act itself of getting the needles put in, etc, seemed very calming for the dog as well. |
