| ![]() I hope your vet checked her for diabetes. That can cause uncontrolled peeing. Sometimes a trained dog will go off training when they are stressed for some physical or emotional reason. My Gracie started missing her pee pad when our daughter moved out of the home. It took a few days of watching her closely and giving her treats and lots of praise when she did it right to get her back on track. Gracie likes to potty outside so we take her out several times a day. Two walks and a couple of times just walking around the yard. We have the pad for at night and bad weather. If her problems are mostly at night you might try teaching her some word command that she will associate with using the potty. When she does use it and you reward her just use that word or phrase at the same time over and over. Eventually she will associate the word with doing her business. In the evening start using that word very kindly and happily to direct her to use the potty a couple times before bedtime. Cut off her water at six or seven, depending upon what time you go to bed. I hope you can get things back to normal. Don't despair. She will feel your stress. She wants to please you as much as you want her to. |
