| Predicting Piper? Well, Not So Much! Working as a graveyard cashier in a casino toughens ya up, but getting sick with this or that is an ongoing problem. So after feeling lousy for a few days, I went to a local walk-in minute clinic with Piper in tow. After an hour of be being poked and prodded and thumped-on (all the while holding Piper); after sitting up, laying down, giving this arm then the other...We got up to leave and only then did it occur to me, here was little Pipe in the midst of all this nonsense--coming from a waay close stranger to boot--and she had not received one bit of attention ('cept for a smooch here and there from me). And yet, after unceremoniously being shifted from one arm to another and being held in awkward positions, Piper remained still, quiet, and didn't fidget once; she was just as calm and as calming as could be...I can't tell you how amazed and proud I am of my girl. I just had to 'brag' a bit because I know you guys would understand; but I thank you for indulging me nonetheless. You know, just about the time I feel I know Piper well enough to predict her behavior, she reminds me that she is full of wonderful surprises! I love my Pipe more every minute of every hour of every day. |

| Aww what a good girl! Just out curiosity, do they allow dogs in there? Or just ones you can carry? I always LOVE when I find new places that I can bring mine. Someone just told me Rita's Ices is dog friendly! |

| I don't know if it depends on who's staffing the clinic or if I just looked so pitiful, doctor didn't much notice Piper or what?! There were no signs stating one way or the other, but I kinda think I lucked-out and doubt that dogs are the norm...I do know that Piper is welcomed in Big Lots, some Dollar Stores, Ross Dress for Less, a couple of local Thrift Stores, Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Payless, CVS (though they watch carefully and we keep visit brief), and my neighbor, who works there, thinks WinCo accepts dogs case-by-case...haven't tried there, yet. We've been to AutoZone and other car places, no problem. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | She is just the *best* little girly! But what's also best is the unmistakable extent to which you love and adore to her to no end - which is apparent in all of your posts. I love that !

| Oh, Ann...you're ever-so-right and I love you for truly understanding what most non-Yorkie friends simply don't get. Hey, ya won't know, 'til ya know, yes?! Still to this day, when someone comments that Piper is a cute dog, I simply cannot help myself and always say, "I knoowww! I just think she's the cutest little thing everrr..." Not the most gracious of responses, but it's kind of involuntary and certainly genuine! |

I'm guilty too - I say "I know", then "yes, she is isn't she and she knows it" and finally remember to say "thank you"! | |

A) the cuteness you are currently witnessing? B) the disbelief of the absolute perfection that is in your lap? C) knowing she (or he, as in my case) is all yours? Ha! Every once in a while it'll still hit me that "OH MY GOD!!! Kaji is MINE!!!" And I just have to give him extra snuggles while squealing in delight. He thinks I'm crazy, the family thinks I'm crazy, but can you blame me? He's just so cute!!!! I'm sure you can relate.

| I wish I had found YT yearssss ago. From the 80's when I got my first yorkie, I couldn't believe I could love a dog as deeply as I loved her. Sure I had other dogs, a poodle that I adored, when she passed I SWORE I would NEVER get so bonded with it that I had to take a tranquilizer, then have a friend drive me to the vet when she needed surgery to remove a lump on her. Yorkies have a way of just capturing your heart. My family and friends all loved my dogs (eventually I had a pack of 3 they are so addictive lol) but thought I was a bit nuts with them. I LOVE YT because everyone is insanely in LOVE with their babies, so I know I am not the only one out there lol. And Jkpal you are the POSTER MOM of insanely in LOVE with your baby, it shows in every post of yours. YT is a wonderful to start my day, first cup of coffee and love spilling out from many loving, adoring posts, always puts a smile on my face and love in my heart for all members that adore their babies as much as I do mine. What a GREAT way to start of each morning.

| Awwww, these babies know when we are truly in distress and try to do their best to help, and they read us better than we realize it.
