| Stress Last post I swear! At the end of the evening I put boss's cage together and Ted attacked and bit him (not enough force to hurt) he then came to me with puppy eyes and drool pouring out of his mouth. I quickly said goodnight to boss and scooped teddy into my arms. We went potty and I offered more food and water but both were declined. I lay down with him in bed and I hear a sound so I call my brother in to turn the lights on. Teddy has soaked his entire leg and his beard is dripping. He's also pulling at his fur. We both petted and baby talked him. He seems to be calming down but I don't know how to help him this whole new puppy thing is really stressing Ted and I...

| What do you mean by Teddy soaking his entire leg? He was chewing on it or did he pee on himself? Have you tried using treats to change his mental state of mind from stressed to more positive? If Teddy is attacking the puppy in any way or stressed to the point he's chewing on his leg, I would limit the amount of time they are together for now. Start with 5 minutes a day and go from there. Keep them in separate spaces and only very gradually let them interact more. Always monitor them when they're together. Sounds to me that Teddy needs a slower transition. A lot of people (not just you) feel a rush to have their dogs love each other. But really, we need to work on slowing down the pace, especially if anyone is stressed (us people included). When I brought Casie home, Scottie didn't get to see her much for the first few days. I only let both of them be in the same space once I noticed that Scottie was okay.

| I tried crate training teddy as a puppy but his screams kept our entire house up so he became a bed dog...I'm almost wondering if he thought this cage was his? But I only saw a small mark where he was chewing and he didn't make any cries at all that evening or limping just the chewing and drooling like he was pulling on his hair it was scary
