| Is that a refundable "pet deposit" or a separate fee that you don't get back? I mean why would they charge that if she did no damage? They are not allowed to charge extra for service dogs and even if they say "no pets" they have to allow service dogs. They can charge the owner of a service dog for ny damage the dog does however. |

| that is a ridiculous amount! I guess they are assuming they will have to clean the carpets or something after you leave. That is just wrong. Oh well, at tleast they are letting you bring the dog!

| it's up to a $75 non-refun. deposit for 1-6days, not $75/day. Standard Pet Policies & Guidelines # A non-refundable fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay. * 1- 6 nights up to $75 * 7+ nights up to $150 * Guests are responsible for any damages to the room and its contents. The guest’s room will be inspected for such damages prior to checkout. If extensive cleaning or damage repair is necessary beyond the normal deep cleaning process, the guest may be charged additional fees. http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/cw/...tfriendly.html |

| I don't recommend sneaking your pup into the motel. I have done this, and although it worked out OK, the PARANOIA was terrible. I should have paid the fee so I could relax in my room. I have made peace with the fact that travelling with Edie is expensive. On US Airways it is $75 EACH WAY for her to ride under the seat. My husband and I looked into buying a motor home so we could travel more easily with Edie, but decided against that (storage for the darn thing was a problem). So--here we are, paying top dollar for the honor of travelling with our little girl. It's crazy, but it's still cheaper than college tuition. |
