| Treats My little guy is good about dragging in things from outside. Usually the only way I can get him to give it up is to give him a doggie treat. Anyone else have to do that??

| Trading for treat -- yes! No problem. If your little guy is willing to trade, good job training. I know ideally you probably would like to stop him from dragging things in. What does he bring in? Leaves (my Max's favorite) or small vermin?

| Lol I think, he eats crickets. He will pick up anything lying around in and out of the house for a cookie

It's hard to know when we are inadvertently training for unwanted behaviors. These little guys learn how to game the system. Max learned to bark out the window so that I would tell him to be quiet and then reward him when he obeyed. Thankfully he eventually gave it up.

| Chicken jerky is the only bribe that will slow Piper's "I got something I shouldn't have..." runaway, when she's knows I'm going to take yucky mystery item for her little chompers. |

| I had a dog at one time not a yorkie. He would steal anything he saw someone put down. He brought home a new car radio that my brother put down . He brought us wallets , shoes , socks and food.. We had to go around our street and give people there items back. It got to the point that they would just come to our house and look in his dog box. Thank goodness everyone on the street was related to me or friends. Never could get him to stop . He passed away at 17 yrs old . I still miss him. |

| Scottie doesn't do this, so I guess I'm very lucky! Ew...crickets into the house? I'd freak out. Hehe.. he just likes peeing on leaves he sees on the sidewalk.
