Apparently it is RAW HONEY that is nutritional and recommended in small quantities, rather than the processed honey, and not for puppies in any form, at all....just be sure to read/listen to reputable sources about this....

Oh you are amazing! How incredibly distressing having such a tiny dependent not be able to tell you what hurts. Thank you so much for your running dialogue on what is working and what's not and what you are learning and especially your emotional changes. I am learning so much and feel so much more grounded with my Monty even though (thankfully) he is stable. Thinking of you ....

The conflicting information on honey is making me groan, heh. I get yes, do it. (by trainer and one vet in the same practice) then No, DON'T by your guys, reputable IT sites, and another vet i nthe same practice.

I have raw honey, it's all I use. Sigh. I need to find out if the nutradrops are in this city, we are looking at Friday for delivery.

Thank you, but I wanted to tell you here, too, that it's because of you that we got our first bit of good news this afternoon. Despite that it was pretty entrenched, even with no symptoms, she is giardia free, and playing as we speak.

It's because of you that she's free and clear. You suggested things I didn't think of, and it worked.

Yes, do as Yorkiemom1 says & order the nutra drops ASAP. How tiny is this pup ? Also you said your giving her turkey ? If yes then ONLY white meat absolutely NO dark meat as it alone very often causes pancreatitis. I would stick with the chicken myself and/or RX food from the vet & canned versus dry.

Drops already ordered. I did that on Saturday. Turkey is the leanest available. . My immune system is bad, and my family gets fresh produce, no canned/frozen, and the leanest meats I can get my hands on. I also regularly have venison and the like (for us, not chewie) Vet says pumpkin (for constipation, wants to watch it for a few more days, then take out the pumpkin and white rice, turkey only) Chicken I can try, he says turkey is good, too, as I'm boiling it- but, chicken would be great for her as a change. she responds well to pumpkin for constipation. She's 6 months, and thankfully hasn't lost any weight. not gaining in the last two weeks except for like 2 ounces. just steady at 3.88. She's doing SO well. I am going out on a limb and guessing that shivering is from stress. She's highly anxious and was dx'd by the doctor as such. Lately, from all the crap she's been through, my loud hubby and daughter start those shivers. I saw it today when she hid behind my legs when Dan got overly excited when she poo'd on her pad, something she is hit/miss on. She hid and shivered. Wylie's mom was right, no hypo thankfully!! When I'M stressed I get cold, too. I think that's what's happening with her. She whimpered once this morning in pain, scratched her mouth a lot, and then I handed her a chew toy, and it stopped. I'm off to bed. I wanted to give all the info I could. She's FINALLY napping and sleeping, and I couldn't be happier.

OH! we never EVER eat dark meat. Usually my ground meat is done by myself at home. I didn't have time this weekend to go to the store to get the meat, so I bought leanest white turkey available. 90% lean.
