| Dog purse vs regular purse? Is there any big difference between those purses? I went out and saw some pretty regular purses that my babies would fit in.. but I'm not sure if I should just get dog purses designed specifically for them.. I did see some kwigy-bo and dog of glamour ones but.. not really my style lol |

| I think the dog purse are prefered b/c you're able keep them secure better while giving them access to view out if the top needs to be closed. |

| Depends on the dog purse/carrier, but most have a tether to attach to the dog's harness, and some have mesh ventilation panels for when the purse is closed. If you just want something to carry your dog and do not need to close the bag for concealment or travel requirements (on an airplane for instance), any purse your dog fits in is fine.

| I feel the ventilation, ability to zip n unzip different portions and tether strap are important. |

| I think the bags designed specifically for little dogs are designed for little dogs for a reason--that being safety, comfort, and security for little canines. I don't think a regular woman's purse would offer much in the way of safety or security for any little canine. |

| thank you guys for the replies. i was thinking of adding tether into the bag and somehow adding mesh of some sort into regular purse or something.. lol but i guess that'd be a too much of a hassle.. anybody know where i can still find jaraden bags? i've looked around, but i see that they are discontinued now... there is this pet purse i'm also looking at.. (picture attached below) what do you guys think of it? its not leather looking as with kwigy-bo or dog of glamour, but i thought it still looked cute.. lol (one is a tote and other is shoulder bag) Last edited by Deviruchi; 04-20-2016 at 10:21 AM. |

| Those look cute!! The fabric carriers are better for summer weather IMO..(but still can get really hot, depending on where you are~

| There are such a large variety in such a huge price range- not worth it to me to convert a regular purse. Did you try anazon - they have similar ones to that pic. |

| @canana, i've contacted the company and asked about the fabric since i thought it'd get hot too, but they said it was light cotton and it won't get hot in summer... lol not sure if that's 100% true or not... @lovestiny, i've looked around amazon but i'm really picky so that didn't help.. lol |

Have two small Yorkies - one 3 lb one 2 1/2 lb and the lady at JCLA told me that the regular one would hold my two, that the deluxe was for much larger dogs and would be way too big.
