| Help!! Our baby, Perseus, is taking his poop in his house/bed. Zeus would sometimes bring it to us if we didn't find it fast enough to get a treat (which we thought was gross); however, taking it to the bed is REALLY gross. Any suggestions on how to stop it? Saying no and bad puppy are not cutting it. The weird thing is that he has not had one accident in our house. He goes potty (both) on the pads, and then he picks the poop up and takes it to his bed. Yuck! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, buy Solid Gold's SEP (Stop Eating Poop) and put on his food. For our Wylie when he was a pup, it worked immediately.

| Chilli was doing the same thing. I tried picking it up immidately and saying 'bravo' everytime while i'm taking it, i wanted him to understand that that is 'my job' to take it..before that he was hiding it from me and when we solved that he was bringing it to bed and then he was bringing it to me and waiting for the treat...and yes it's all gross, but i think with giving him a treat could while you are picking up the poop could work!

| My last yorkie did the same thing except it was the cat poop. She would bring it to me than take off running with dry cat poop in her mouth. I had to chase her all over the house and pull dry cat poop out of her mouth with my bear hands....talk about gross. Trust my pulling dry cat poop from her mouth was like pulling teeth, she would not let go and I literally had to pry her mouth open to get it.... I had to go and get a whole new litterbox setup to prevent Miss Thing from eating "kitty treats" Rest In Peace Brandi |
