| Congrats on your new baby. I agree with the idea that a good vetting is in order and then follow your vet's recommendations. You have only had your precious baby girl for a very short period of time. Be patient, get to know her and she will "tell" you a lot about herself. As you get to know her, you will learn about her metabolism. It is possible that she burns calories as fast as she can inhale them. As long as she is eating, drinking, peeing and pooping, is active and appears to be happy, then try not to worry. Weight gain takes time and any worry that she senses in you will cause anxiety in her. |
