Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome. Yes, it can happen quite early with the breaking of color on the coat.

| Does it mean shes gonna be a silver colour cz her roots are grey? I read somewhere that if the start breaking thier colour early that they will be quite light in colour, or does the grey turn darker as it grows through? Sorry for all the questions x |

| Not sure about the "right answer" but I think that was the case with my two. Zoey's color broke through faster than Magnus and now she's MUCH lighter in color. Never be sorry for asking any questions here! |

| Our new girl Bailey already had the grey undercoat on her head and back. Then at her first grooming and clip a lot more showed through. Her mother was very light and so we anticipate that she will be too. Bella is still very much black and tan.
