Ladybug missed me! I came home after being gone 6 hours and her behavior made me laugh. I no longer crate her, I leave her in my bedroom with a baby gate across the door. But she kinda was hopping! Lifting her front legs up at the same time really fast! It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. She was always happy to see me. She usually just jumps up on my lap and gives me kisses. This was pure all out excitement. She couldn't wait for me to pick her up. I loved it!!!

Don't you love it when they are so excited to see you. Duchess gets so wiggly I have to wait until she calms down before I can pick her up. She also has a tendency to tinkle a little bit when she gets that excited. It reminds of a story from a famous relationship expert. "Honey why do you treat the dog better than you treat me?" "Because the dog is so excited and happy to see me when I get home even if I was only gone for an hour"

"When was the last time someone was so overjoyed to see you, so brimming with love and affection that they literally ran to greet you? A dog will do that for you--ten, twenty, thirty times a day." Your little LadyBug loves you very much! So glad you found one another!! | |

I was very lucky to get her. Is it usual for her to only listen to one person? She doesn't do anything my husband asks her to do. Once in a while she'll do what my 4 1/2 yr old granddaughter asks. But she loves on her constantly when she's here.

I'm hardly ever gone for long, let alone 6 hrs, so it was a first.
