| Runny Eyes/Wet Face Hi everyone, Penny has always (shes 1 years old now) had runny eyes on and off but NEVER gunky and AWAYS clear so not infected. Her little face is always wet under her eyes and when I kissed her face today her face tasted salty! Like human tears Shes only got back from the groomers over a week ago so I dont want to bath her again, what can I bath her face and eyes with? She is black so I can see tear stains or anything Xx

| Something must be irritating her eyes. Are the whites of her eyes white, or do they look a little bloodshot? Gently lift her lids to see the white part. Teary eyes (pure tears, no gunk) can be caused by hair in the eye, or maybe the scent of her grooming products. Max is very sensitive to perfumes in grooming products. Sometimes food can also bring on the waterworks. We use cottons balls with tap water to clean the corners of the eyes.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Do you suspect anything like allergies? She's not licking or chewing her paws is she? You could maybe try giving her bottled water, that may help a bit.
