Something must be irritating her eyes. Are the whites of her eyes white, or do they look a little bloodshot? Gently lift her lids to see the white part.
Teary eyes (pure tears, no gunk) can be caused by hair in the eye, or maybe the scent of her grooming products. Max is very sensitive to perfumes in grooming products.
Sometimes food can also bring on the waterworks.
We use cottons balls with tap water to clean the corners of the eyes.
