| Michiko, you are doing things in the right order so do not worry that you are boring anyone. We certainly would be typing in caps if you had gone ahead and bought a dog and THEN had to let it go. See? No caps so we approve! Stacy and I are alike when it comes to placing our babies. They have a home right here til the right home comes knocking at our door-well, not the right home but the right owneD...I tell people to come by and get your Yorkie fix. I'm not obligaed to sell and you are not obligated to buy. We think potential buyers should spend a lot of time getting to know our babies and we need to get a feel for the buyer so it works for both parties. hent he time is right, you will have your munchkin and another and another and so on. One is never enough, I am tellin ya! |

| You are not alone! I post all the time and I don't have my yorkie yet either. She is on the way but it's still going to be a little while. The great thing about YT is that noone here will give you "The Look". I think we are all pretty much obsessed with yorkies. We always had dogs when I lived at home but when I moved in with my boyfriend things changed. I have been trying to get settled enough money, space, time, etc wise for about 8 years. Now that the time is finally right I realize that it was a blessing in disguise that I had to wait because I will be able to care for my baby so much better. Kibble would have been really hard to buy when we didn't really have money for people food hehehe. As for apartments not taking pets I really don't understand that. Kids are much MUCH more destructive. Show me a complex that doesn't allow kids and then no pets will make more sense. Best of luck! I'm sure you will get your furbaby soon!

| Did I say that I would try not to post a boring post? Did you say that my posts are not boring? Are you ready? I am touched by all your kind words. I am surprised that so many people have read my long post and took time to respond to me. You are very supportive and I really appreciate that. I had a rough day and just turned on the computer. (and it took me a couple hours to post this single message) it is nice to read messages from everyone. Today I had a conference call with an immigration lawyer to consult about my immigration status. I was told that it would cost $5000 and it would take over 5 years to get my permanent residency (green card). It's not garantee. Anyway.. I wish I had a yorkie to give a hug. I am hugging my blanket instead for now. It is very hard when you don't have any family around. I am alone in the US, and I cannot talk about any issues to my parents home because they would worry and ask me to come home. I have a wonderful boyfriend and friends and I am very grateful about that. I have my own reason why I am not going back to Japan. Anyway.. it is endless to talk about my life. I just need a companion. I even thought about going counseling, but I know I can be really really happy with alternative way. I think having a yorkie as a companionship will really do me real good. I just cannot wait for the day and I wish I had one now. When growing up, I had Shiba Inu (outdoor). I remember looking at them from a small window in my room. I had a rough childhood, and I kept talking to them from the window. It really helped me. They knew how I was feeling and they always made me smile. Having dogs can really make people's life happier. Some people have chemical unbalance etc that they have to be in therapy and/or take medication. Then some people just need some companionship and something else other than worries to think about. If I could go to master, I would definitely want to study about Health Psychology, Alternative way to feel healthy and happy. I was even thinking about becoming a dog trainer, but I found out that I have allegies... I can work with yorkies.. who knows.. in the future.... I might show or breed yorkies when I become 50 or something... who knows.. so I guess I stick around. The dream can be endless. Right now, I am worrying about green card stuff and apartment, but nothing is gonna stop me from my dream to get a yorkie real soon. Anyway.. i think it is enough talk.. I also would like to respond to some of your posts too.. Thanks for reading and support!

| Michiko please do not feel that you bore anyone here. You are going to make a fantasitic Yorkie mommie one day very soon. Just think how knowledgeable you are already about the breed. Alot more than I can say about myself when I got my first Yorkie. Nothing but best wishes on your house hunting.

| Hang in there! Just don't give up. Even with something as "little" as a dog, the saying in life to never give up on your "dream" and good things come to those who wait is so true. I wish you the best of luck!!! And we're glad to have you here at YT!!!

Don't you worry a minute about that, you did not let anyone down. You will still be the 'perfect candidate' when the time is right. I just hope it all works out quickly for you so you can have the comfort of your own perfect little guy in your arms soon. Now, schedule some playtime with your foster boy and tell us some more amusing stories.

| Your stories are never boring. Remember that Extrordinary people lead Extraordinary Lives...no matter how boring it might seem to you. Most of us could not imagine living and trying to make it in Japan at your age. I am wishing you the best of luck relocating to your new home and as for the puppy all I can say is that will be some lucky dog. Big hug, Kathryn

| Michiko, My cousin and I live in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs either. But, I got Baby. I haven't gotten "caught" but do feel bad for the people below me b/c they probably hear her barking. Anyway, my cousin and I are moving into a house that we are purchasing...and one of the reasons for the move? I don't want to sneak around with the dog and not be able to take her outside in the daytime. So, I guess you can say I'm moving to keep my dog. So, I applaud you. Great decision!

Ya you also want to be able to show off your pup!! I don't think I can snak dogs at this apartment. I mean.. I bring my friend's yorkie a couple times a month and dog sit, but that is something that landlord said ok about. But I cannot definitely have a yorkie and keep him/her here.. I don't think I will be truly happy .. it is just my personality I guess... But I am so glad that you are making a choice for a better home for your dog. So you don't need to scold her if she barks!!
