You are not alone! I post all the time and I don't have my yorkie yet either. She is on the way but it's still going to be a little while. The great thing about YT is that noone here will give you "The Look". I think we are all pretty much obsessed with yorkies.
We always had dogs when I lived at home but when I moved in with my boyfriend things changed. I have been trying to get settled enough money, space, time, etc wise for about 8 years. Now that the time is finally right I realize that it was a blessing in disguise that I had to wait because I will be able to care for my baby so much better. Kibble would have been really hard to buy when we didn't really have money for people food hehehe. As for apartments not taking pets I really don't understand that. Kids are much MUCH more destructive. Show me a complex that doesn't allow kids and then no pets will make more sense. Best of luck! I'm sure you will get your furbaby soon!
