I have used Frontline Plus for years and get good results. I have had to use Comfortis in the past with my now passed girl. She had no side affects from it. Comfortis kills adult to baby fleas, eggs and larva. When I had to use it my dog had a full meal, perhaps your baby needs more food in her stomach before Comfortis is given.

I don't think she ate enough. But some how she had enough in her system for it to work. Do you get frontline plus from the vet?

Both dogs are throwing up this morning! Ugh! I won't be giving comfortis again. I thought my Yorkie/poodle mix was handling it ok but now she's sick. I gave both alittle food. Zoey ate (the Yorkie mix) but Lady didn't (my new Yorkie).

I am using HFT Ezybones....chewable prevention, that gets fleas, prevents heartworms and kills tapeworms.

The comfortis has similar to capstar in it. It's just longer acting. I was using Revolution for Winnie, but the vet didn't have the small size so we got comfortis....it seems effective enough but since it doesn't have HW prevention in it I probably won't continue to use it.

We use it as well because they have a dose for dogs 2-10 pounds. He has been on it for a couple years. So far, so good. Fingers crossed.
