Easy has the silky coat and here are some of her pictures at different stages.

6 months, then 8 months (hard to see due to wind blowing hair around), and now at 11 months

Here is a better one of one of mine at 8 months, but Keekee has more of a cotton type coat.

they are so cute, my dogs hair is like yours at 8mths

but she is steal blue in color, at least thats what color i have heard it called

Keekee and Easy are both breaking a great steal blue - Keekee is younger so Easy is breaking 2 months later than her. But they look darker in the photos since they are in oil in some of the photos. Thanks!
Do you have any photos of your 8 month old?

I had a similar question about hair length. Lexie is 14 months. At what age would you expect a full (floor length) coat?
