| Birthday gift ideas? My baby is turning 2 on Tuesday! I wanted to get some ideas of what I can buy her? I home cook for her and she usually eats chicken or beef so I am going to make her a special birthday meal of salmon and sweet potato. She's also going to get some treats and a birthday cake. (Not all in the same day, lol. ) For gifts, I bought her a little birthday cake toy and a dogs of glamor fur jacket loll and a CC hair brush. I'm sure she'll love that hair brush LOL What can I buy that's just for her? Any specific bones or chew toys? I want to make her really happy and to feel it's her special day

| Having your time and attention for most of the day will make your little girl feel super extra special! Maybe the two of you could go shopping at one of the pet stores and she could pick out something...? f And, of course, she'll get the attention of other shoppers who will 'awww' over her and that's always fun! Enjoy the special day with your darling little princess! Maybe take a photo or two to share---would love to see some highlights of the day! |

| Exactly what I was going to suggest, just you and Chloe. When I want to give Cody a "special" day I take him to the state park which is not far from me, we walk the trails for a bit, new smells for him is a treat. I bring a few kibbles and water for him, a sandwich for me, they have a picnic area, we'll eat there. I know you're in the city and no state parks lol, I also take Cody to Dairy Queen for ice cream, I get 2 spoons, one for me, one for him lol and we share. Also Pet Supplies as Jkpal suggested, I select several toys and let him pick which one he wants, plus he gets a lot of attention from ppl in the store. Are you able to get to Central Park, that's a beautiful park to spend time with Chloe.

| DH and I took Buddybear to the park area for a romp in the grass, lunch out with a grilled chicken for him, and a few new toys and his favorite a new bully stick. He turned 1 in July and we had a great time, I'm sure he enjoyed his day too.

| When my baby turned one, I took her to the groomers and baked her cake while she was there (I made an almond berry cake, she loved it). She got tuckered out quick lol But yea I suggest something I do for my girl every once in awhile, lay out a very soft/plush material (I've used my bed robe ^^;..) over the bed and have her lay on it, brush her, give her a massage and rub her paw with some coconut oil. Maybe feed her little treats while doing so. I've had my girl fall asleep while I've done this, it's too cute
