I might suggest you do the same....calling someone "dearie" is not exactly "nice".

Read my post above about the things that go on on this forum....she only commented because it is VERY frustrating to see these things over and over and over and many times our advice is ignored. She said that the op probably would not be back...that is sadly a very frequent occurrence here. She didn't disparage the OP in any way. She made the suggestion the OP discuss with her vet....I think that was being helpful.

Thank you Sharon for updating us and for taking the good advice given here.
It is hard for some new pup owner, who does not know what many of us here know, to be aware of the correct protocols. Glad you came here to ask and that you were wise enough to listen. It was bad of the breeder to even suggest you do the vax at such an early age.
Many times new owners come and ask questions and never listen or come back to tell us what happened.
You will not regret the decisions and I hope that you will then have a healthy and happy pup when you get him. Please come on with any other questions you have, and Good Luck :-)

Like I said.....

She was not being nasty IMHO. She was saying "probably" because it is SO often done on this forum. I didn't see it as a personal remark, but one of experience. If she said "snowbird won't be back because she is not interested" that would be taken as personal.

So...you are back. That's great and I do hope you will listen and learn. I also think that speaking with your vet is not such a bad idea.

To answer your question, Who knows why people post questions when they don't want answers; but, I have been here since 2006 and would have a nice stash of money if I had a dollar bill for every post where the OP either told us our advice sucked or never came back....only to return later with a sick or dead puppy. It can seriously be very discouraging.
Again.....it was not a personal attack IMHO...if you wish to see the negative side of it, that's your prerogative. I think it is wasted energy.

Sharon, sorry you took my comment so personally. As LadyJane said, so often people come here to ask questions and we give our opinions and then never hear back from them. It is frustrating not knowing what happens after so many of us want to help.

A very kind post. I agree we all get upset when a newbie does not EVER come back to update. But in this case it was only late last night that she posted her question, so we need to give a little more time before we assume the OP will not answer?

Thank you SugarMamma. That article says you can give a rabies shot at 3 months if via WSAVA/VGG, what is this? Thank you for your help!
Another Vaccine Schedule via WSAVA / VGG
8-9 weeks old - Distemper + Parvo
11-12 weeks old - same as above
14-16 weeks old - same as above
12 weeks or older - rabies

Aww, thank you EarthAngel, I got a message that the upload failed, so surprised you can see it. I thought I was going to get him next week, but now I am going to wait another month, so it is going to be a very LONG month. Can't wait to get him home and into my arms and have my home filled with love and puppy kisses again! :-)
