I have yet to leave my Spice overnight. But I do know on the rare occasions I have not been able to take her with me and have been gone 2-3 hrs when I come home she will jump all over me and love me and then after a little of that it is almost like she punishes me for leaving her for the next 8 hrs!! LOL Then she is back to herself. But again I have never left her for longer than a couple hours when I have had a Dr appt and she couldnt go. I wish you the best in whatever you find that works and bless you for caring so much ♥ | |

| Hi I'm a newbie on YT, and have never posted before, but have you considered that she may have a UTI? Sometimes dogs that are used to going potty outside will hold it extra long when they are boarded.. Hope she perks up soon, you sound like a great dog mom |

| Hi everyone! Thank you for the continued care, support, and encouragement! Maggie is doing SO MUCH BETTER today! Whew! Last night I gave her a bath, she LOVES baths. I did have them give her one at the boarding facility before she came home, but I thought a bath at home would be soothing. She is always very calm and still in the tub and I am pretty sure she would let me pour warm water over her for hours if I wanted to! LOL! Also her shampoo is claiming lavender. Now, here was the test: Every time after she is dried off she always turns into a big show off and runs to my husband and jumps around like "look at me! I had a bath"! And sure enough, after she was dried off she raced to my husband, bouncing around with her little nubbin of a tail wagging, and she has been back to her typical happy self ever since. SO RANDOM right?! Maybe she just needed some special maggie/mommy bonding

| Also, I would agree about the heat, here in SC its been pretty hot and humid. Heck, it makes ME sluggish and less hungry! And, I also agree with her maybe missing here little playmates, so this weekend so long as the weather holds out, we are taking to the dog park for some play time! Thank you everyone for the tips! How awesome is this community?!
