| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Getting ready in a couple of months to have two from same litter which are on the smaller side. We have raised a Mother and kept one of her pups. They were the best of friends, and she house broke him also. Hope for the same with our future two new fur babies.

| I got Brody from his previous family as a 're-home' when he was 14 months old. Then we puppysat a friend's Shih Tzu. After she left, Brody was so forlorne, I searched for a 'friend like him' with similar size, age, and personality and/or breed and found Mia, another Yorkie (all golden...color fault) needing a new home. Both Brody and Mia were 17 months old when Brody met Mia and she came home with us. They became instant, best friends. We now have three Yorkies, and all were adults when our Yorkie family expanded. They have adapted and are all 'family' now, they play together, kissy-face each other, and we are thrilled since each has an individual personality. Each loves us endlessly and we them, and each provides endless delight for us. Right now, one is at daddy's feet, sleeping, one is half in a doggie bed with a chew toy, and one is being petted by my side...between typing, I mean...LOL. There is extra work and expense, but it is not sufficient for me to worry about. I do everything I can to keep them safe and healthy. I bathe all three in the shower together and dry and groom them in rapid succession. I brush them out one after the other...no big deal...they know the drill...LOL. I think a lot depends on the dogs, but the humans play an important role as well. Would I do it again? You bet your sweet bippy I would.

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | thank you for your reply and encouragement. We lost our Miss Gracie after nearly 15 years and it devastated us. She took a piece of our heart and left us a piece of hers. We raised a pup from Cricket's first litter which was "Damit" (shy of 3lb) and they both lived to age 14. I now have my mother's poodle which is 12 and she gets along well with other dogs so think she will be a big comfort to them and they will be to her also. We miss the Yorkie kisses and peace, comfort, and fun and know these little fur babies will bring that joy back into our home.

| Having two means twice as much love and fun. Our first had an 'only child' personality, but he loves the company of his little brother. The downsides: twice as many vet bills and twice as much grooming. Traveling with one is easier whether it is just a day outing or overnight stay. That said, I am very happy we have our 2nd boy, Teddy. He was meant for us.

| Hi guys! Work has been.... well work lately! I thank each and every one of you for your time to help out in my cause! Lisa, your pictures were awesome, I intend to show them to Denise as the cuteness factor should be more than enough. The pics of them in the pool were great. I was wondering how they would take to swimming. It is so hot here in the summer I was thinking of a kiddie pool on the back screened in porch. I am in search of a good breeder at this point. Honestly, I know that it would take a new pup about 2.5 seconds to have mommy wrapped around a little puppy paw but after the difficult early puppyhood we had with Bella, she is just afraid of the emotional investment. I try to tell her that with a good breeder the first months won't have to be like it was but it really took a toll on her emotionally. Thank you all for the stories of your fur babies. I will keep updates here on the search!!
