| New Pup!! Grooming?? I'm going to get a new little girl soon. I've never owned a dog that has extensive coat care and was curious as to what kind of brushes and combs I should get and just what kind of grooming supplies in general i should get. |

| Congratulations on your soon-to-be new addition! When I first brought Max home as a pup, I needed only a flea comb (small comb with closely spaced teeth). A mustache/leg comb would be a good alternative, and very useful as they grow. This took care of everything from head to paw. As he grew, I added the pin brush, a Madan brand pin brush. YT member Jenny sells Madan brushes and combs on her site: toplinepet.com She offers a 10% discount to YT members. She also sells some of the best brands of shampoo. A tearless shampoo especially for the head is a must. Puppies require very little conditioner, if any.

| I 2nd the mustache comb and Madan pin brush! I actually have one for myself to use. Some other stuff I found to be very helpful were: Espress Plum Perfect Facial Cleanser (love the scent!) Isle of dog's waterless shampoo (for those inbetween baths) There are few other items I'd like to recommend but only if you're planning on grooming at home like many of us do. |
