| ![]() So, now when Ruger is sitting next to me he always puts a paw on me. I'm wondering if he is signaling that he is mine, or if he's signaling that I'm his. There is a difference. ![]() |

| ![]() When out running errands, if Piper thinks I've chatted long enough or if she feels left out, I feel her little paws on my leg and if I'm too slow in picking her up she starts little leaps and jumps. Once in my arms, she's relaxed and patient. Silly girl...Is she just trying to be part of social exchange or is she asserting her place of importance?! No matter, I find everything about my little lamb chop funny, endearing, sweet--though perplexing at times! Maybe Ruger is doing a yorkie-type arm around your shoulder...? I certainly don't know what it means, but I love that he connects that way with you! What a delight he must be... |

| ![]() Agree with others... I think it's also a way for them to "remind" you that they're there. ![]() |

| ![]() Zoey does this too. She will sit beside me and put one foot on my leg, usually while staring at me. I think this is sweet.

| ![]() Mine will do that to a certain degree also! I think it's very cute. Toto tries to wake me up in the morning. First he will cuddle next to me. If that doesn't work he will lay on top of my head on my pillow. If that doesn't work he will try to sit next to my neck, and then usually will use his little nub of a tail and stick me in the neck.
