| Heart broken in VA I recently joined YorkieTalk.com and posted about my two 12 week old female sibling Yorkie's Royal Countess and Royal Duchess. We have since discovered they are Dorkie's (Yorkie/Dachshund), and are regretfully looking to sell them. WE WERE SCAMMED...Advertising pups, if any interest on Hoobly Classifieds @ https://www.hoobly.com/c/listing?id=Akzny...Thanks... |

| How did you find this out? Did u do DNA testing? Nobody likes to be scammed.....but it seems kind of unfair to the puppies.....

| Are you wanting to purchase Yorkies for a breeding program? |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog All dogs are precious no matter what the breed. That's what I believe. Each has their own special personalitư. I am hoping these pups will be in a home that loves them if you do not want them. |

Kindness much appreciated at this time as this is not easy...Unfair to pups...UNFAIR TO EVERYONE...Only VICTOR is SCAMMER! No DNA, however two Vet's have assured us they are Dorkie's; one female after four weeks looks exactly like a Dachshund with silky hair and the other female looks only similar to a Yorkie with curly hair. We are 60ish and 70ish and thought we were purchasing very small Yorkie companions as we are unable to handle or care for 15-20lb adult dogs. No way of knowing their adult size, because the parents shown us are apparently not legit. Research indicates up to 20lbs...Please don't criticize us for knowing we can't care for larger dogs as we are trying to do the humane thing...Don't like explaining our motives as we aren't mean people, just realistic, and want the best possible for the pups...What would you do?

| You should be ashamed to even put those thoughts into words .. Especially on a forum full of people who love dogs!

YT 1000 Club Member | That's terrible you were scammed! Were you able to see the puppies in person before purchase? See sire or at the very least the dam? Were they registered AKC/CKC (Candian Kennel Club) or any other reputable registry which may be foreign? We all love dogs, but if I pay for and research a Yorkshire Terrier that's what I want period. Not half yorkie, three quarters yorkie, etc. Hopefully these puppies will find a new, good home. |

| I can fully appreciate what you are saying, because my sister has a great little dog that weighs 16 lbs and though I love him I can't handle him if he gets stubborn or begins to pull on his leash when he sees another dog. I on the other hand have a 2 1/2 pound Yorkie and she is a dream to handle....I can just scoop her up if she gets difficult ! By the way, I am 71....get the picture. All the best finding new homes for those babies ! |

I think you are being realistic. It would be difficult to lift larger dogs. I am sorry you were scammed.

| I am sorry you were scammed. Unfortunately, we see a lot of that here and people are very passionate about it, and as I am sure you can understand, care about the welfare of the pups. Because you posted in the general forum it opens up your post for comments even if you are not asking for opinions. If you are only looking to advertise the puppies there is a different section for that but you would need to be sure it falls within the rules. I wish you and the poor puppies the best.
