Now that i can see the pictures of the puppies, I can tell that they aren't purebreed yorkies but having dachshunds myself, i am not sure they are mixed with dachshund. I agree that the person who started this thread, cgravitt3540, should seek compensation from the breeder who sold the pups as purebreed Yorkies.

I also agree that if size is crucial to the person, buying a full grown dog is the only way to go.

So sorry for you. You wanted a Yorkie should have gotten a Yorkie. Shame on this breeder. I know what you mean about being a senior adult, so am I. I am now on my 2nd Yorkie puppy. Let me say it's not easy. I only have 1, maybe if I had a pair it might be easier, though I don't know. Yorkies are very high maintenance babies. It's non stop at our house. They are the sweetest dogs you can love. It's so hard to be mad at them so they do tend to get what THEY want, but so worth it.
