| Dental wipes I use Premier Pet Natural Dental Wipes from Petsmart on Wosie and she loves them. She and I wipe her teeth down with the minty fresh wipe. She really enjoys it, lets me wipe, I let her chew, she lets me wipe, I let her chew. It's easy! She's almost 7 months old, so we have been doing it for a while. I tried a brush and paste on her, but she hated it. She likes the wipes much better. Good luck!

| Oh no, not at all Quote:
They aren't very expensive, I think they were about $5 for a box. I bet you would like them! Here's a link for them on Petco's site. http://www.petco.com/shop/product.as...Dental%2bWipes

| I got a little finger brush and toothpaste from PETCO. I think it's called PetDent. The packaging is green. |

| I use the free toothbrushes I get bundled with toothpaste. I put doggie toothpaste on them and hold the brush to make sure he gets all his teeth. He just chews away! He will try to run away with it so I hold it. Also, I just got him one of these: www.easybrush.com It's thick though, so I'd only recommend it if you have a bigger yorkie (with a bigger mouth!) Loki is 9lbs.

| Yorkies do need special care taken of their teeth because they are prone to periodontal disease and tooth loss so you should brush their teeth several times a week and feed mostly kibble and not a lot of wet food that can stick to the teeth. I give my dogs toothbrushes to chew on, I have dental wipes and I have a finger brush and several different flavors of toothpaste. It's actual fun and if you start it when they sre young they actually like it. |
