| Oh around 9 last night he was feeling so much better after his medicine and final throw up! I'm sorry I forgot to update...at 8:30ish he ate a whole bowl of kibble and drank a whole bowl of water and then started the zoomies which made me so relieved after watching him lay around all day

| She gives him everything she eats so that's why I was so relieved he moved back in but whenever we visit she yells that I'm not feeding him (he gets a coffee cup of food every day) so yesterday he ate a piece and started throwing up like a half hour later...now that you say pork I think part of his illness could be from the ham hocks bones my dad kept giving him 2 days before his sick day

| No bones period, cooked, uncooked, pork, beef, NO BONES, they can splinter, tear dogs intestines, tear dogs rectum when they have a bowel movement. Google dogs and bones. Ask your vet if it's safe to give your dog meat bones. Short story, many years ago, my aunts MIL had a German Shepard, they use to give the dog all types of bones except chicken bones. The dog started to have blood in his poop. Turned out with each bowel movement he was tearing his rectum from passing splinted bones . The dog died at 5 years old. When I heard that I was happy that I had never given any of my dogs any type of bones.Dogs do not NEED bones, there are healthy products on the market for dogs to chew to help keep teeth healthy.

| A coffee cup depending on the cup and size of the dogs seems to much food. Moki cant eat beef. If he eats any amount it comes back up. I dont feed it to him but when we go places sometimes ppl dont listen to me and sneak it. But after it comes back up on there carpet they know why. Now ppl don't sneak food to him. They think they are spoiling him or being nice. but actually there aren't. Killing him with kindness. But they know now what to sneak him...Even when I say dont feed him. Never ppl food with spices. If you want to give him meats as treat it need to be cooked with no spice at all. But Chicken and fish is easier on them. |

| many, many, many moons ago, my grandfather & grandmother use to give their dogs all types of bones, (no chicken) good for the teeth was the belief, they would also cut off the fat from steaks, and other fatty meats, good for the skin and makes fur shiny, also another belief. Over the years with much study, it has been discovered fat is extremely dangerous, will cause Pancreatitis and bones splinter and can rip a dogs insides. Perhaps your dad was raised as I was believing dogs NEED fat and bones. (I never gave bones or fat to my dogs) I know you are at the mercy of your parents and it's very hard to control what your dog is given. If your dad gives Teddy a ham hock bone or any bone take it away from him ASAP, I don't know how you can control grandma from feeding Teddy what ever, without hurting grandma's feelings. This is a stressful situation for you, but, you have to watch Teddy around your family, watch what he is given to eat. Your family has good intentions, they just don't know the danger they are putting Teddy in, they are still in the days of bones and fat is good for dogs. How is Teddy doing today.
