| Biting I have a one year old female yorkie who has been wonderful and lately if you touch her when she is asleep she try's to bite us that's only if she isn't asleep in someone. Any suggestions on what to do. She sleeps in her crate at night but falls asleep in the sofa almost every night and I've always just picked her up and put her in but now with her trying to bit I'm not sure what I should do. |

| Could you be startling her? Have you tried waking her by talking to her before picking her up?

| Mine does the same thing, she didn't start it until a few months back. She sleeps at the foot of the bed and if I happen to turn in my sleep and touch her she will growl and try to bite my foot. That wakes me up in a hurry, lol. I think they are just sleeping so soundly that the touch scares them. Willow will settle right back down and is ok as soon as she knows it is just me.
